Hey Doc,
We just spent several minutes planting, I mean harvesting, some milk thistle seeds and wondered if there was a better method to separate the seed from the fuzzy part without planting a bunch of milk thistles in my parents back yard… oops. What do you do to harvest large amounts?

For those that don’t know, milk thistle seeds have wonderful little dandelion-seed parachutes to help them fly around. When I harvest it, I cut the heads off and then remove the seeds from the heads indoors. :0)
Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
