All of the fermented foods (Kombucha, miso, yogurt, sauerkraut, etc…) are great for the gut. But they can sometimes also contain some happy little fungal friends (mot of whom are also good guys). I recommend laying off them during the Candida cleanse just so we don’t risk giving the Candida any reinforcements during the war. After the cleanse, when we’ve re-established the happy gut bugs with probiotics and prebiotics, the benefits of fermented foods vastly out weigh any disadvantages.
Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
