November 3, 2022 at 8:48 PM #18295 CarolAnnStudent To my knowledge, sage works well to “dry up” runny conditions. You can do steam inhalations to hit the sinuses and the lungs. You can also gargle with sage tea to help the throat (and lymph nodes I believe). 1 user thanked author for this post. November 9, 2022 at 3:04 AM #18688 AnnettStudentTopic Author I’m wondering if sage gets mucus out of the sinuses? (I thought that was an anticatarrhal. Am I wrong?) Secondly, is it considered anticatarrhal BECAUSE it dries? November 11, 2022 at 3:57 PM #18794 Dr. Patrick JonesHomestead Instructor Sage has some decongestant/anti-catarrhal effects as well. My astringency comment was in response to CarolAnn’s post. :0) Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider. 1 user thanked author for this post.
