Would you recommend the Kidney Bladder U.T.I. formula for a 10 year old with a history of chronic UTIs? I heard Dr Jones mention the Uva Ursi can be a bit harsh for some. I’m hoping to find a safe preventative herb combo to help her ward off future infections that could be taken long term if needed. Would a tea be best or is tincture just as good? Thanks!!

If the kiddo is having an active case, I’d sure use it. But for healing up the bladder, you might just try some marshmallow every day and see if that does the trick. Throw the powder in a fruit smoothie or something a couple of times a day. It tastes good.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

It might be a good idea to give the child a refresher course in proper (safe) wiping technique as well, since back to front wiping is one very common reason females get UTI in the first place.  *Always wipe front to back.*
