I’ve been trying to find the key actions of rosemary. I have learned a few from the culinary modules. However…

Is rosemary an alterative since it increases circulations? Or are they separate actions? Does it move the lymphatic system? Please explain what rosemary is and does.

Rosemary is a mint. It does minty things. I just put up a little lesson on rosemary in the Individual Plants section. One of these days I’ll do a deeper monograph on it. Short answer is it’s good for about anything in the gut, is antimicrobial like Oregano, breaks fevers, eliminates headaches and makes lasagna taste good.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

My husband had been browsing Youtube and told me Rosemary was being recommended for cataracts.  Do you think this would be helpful, and if yes, why?

Rosemary can help prevent and slow the progress of cataracts in several ways. Most of those relate to its high antioxidant levels and anti-inflammatory properties. Btu it also has some good effects on diabetes ( a leading contributor to cataract formation).

I really need to do an in-depth lesson on rosemary. I guess I’ll do that after Christmas.
