        Hi Doc Jones!

I was wondering if you could recommend any natural wellness school that offers solid training in nutrition for natural health professionals? I received my certification as a Natural Health Professional through Trinity School of Natural Health last year, and am now working on pursuing Herbalism and Nutrition (the two main areas/modalities that I want to focus on with my clients). Trinity offers a nutrition program, but I was curious if you might have any recommendations for that specific area. It seems to be quite a challenge sometimes to find good schooling in the natural health field.

Speaking of which, I can’t tell you how much I am enjoying your school! I had been pretty turned off by the course material of other herbalist programs I’d seen…mainly just memorizing herbs and the conditions they have been known to help with, and also some info how to prepare them. I was so excited when I found out about you and your school, and just love the method and depth of your teaching. You’ve been the best teacher I’ve ever had 🙂

Thank you for all that you do!

I’m glad you’re enjoying it Sydney.

I’m not much in the loop on nutrition schools. There are likely lots of folks here that could advise you though.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

Sydney, I’m currently finishing up my functional nutrition and lifestyle practitioner certification with Andrea Nakayama’s Functional Nutrition Alliance. Highly recommend it!
