I have a friend that gifted me a cutting of a what she called a panadol plant. I am having difficulty finding information about it. She says it’s used as an alternative to aspirin. Has anyone else heard of this plant or used it?

It’s in the mint family and is native to Africa. Latin names are Coleus caninus or Plectranthus caninus
I don’t know anything about it. I’d be very careful planting a mint you didn’t know really well and want really badly as it will likely spread a lot. Maybe put it in a pot in your house.
Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
