Has anyone had an experience with auraul fullness and worsening tinnitus after taking Valerian. Tea in this case. Also my first time.

Sounds like valerian’s nervine action was having a go at your vagus nerve for some reasons of its own.  Perhaps that’s not an entirely bad thing?  Doc’s modules teach how herbs like olive leaf make issues feel worse on the way to healing better.  I have not had success with valerian or skullcap as sedatives, both had me awake and twitchy all night.  Both were better for pain relief.  And yes I find valerian is obnoxiously pungent like Doc observed in some people.

Will keep trying different things to see what works better, I guess.

Some folks are wired backward when it comes to sedatives, especially folks with ADD/ADHD. For them, sedating herbs are stimulating and some stimulating herbs are sedating. If valerian makes someone “awake and twitchy” could be that type of wiring.

I’ve never heard of tinnitus as a side effect of valerian.
