I have an adult daughter who has multiple sclerosis. I am learning about this disease and wonder if others have exposure to the disease and have tried different herbs.  I did peek into the class slides that discuss MS.

I’ve used teasel on a number of MS cases. Without exception, they’ve reported good benefit. I’ve also use d joint support internally and hops topically for pain issues on some of those folks.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

I was diagnosed with MS (relapsing, remitting) many years ago and found a doctor in Florida who put me on the right track. I rarely relapse now, and am not in a wheel chair after 25 years. I also rarely have those horrible rolling nerve pains. Any relapsing has resulted in very minor symptoms while following the MS diet. Food is your ultimate enemy and your ultimate medicine in MS. You must take out all dairy, all hidden dairy (which is in almost all packaged prepared or frozen foods as preservatives), take out all red meat, all alcohol (which dehydrates MS patients who are already suffering from dryness, though I am able to use tincture remedies evidently because there is so little alcohol in a dose – I respond well to drop doses), and no sulfites. In addition, adequate nutrient support is essential. Wishing you good luck in finding good health.
