A friend from a South American country is pretty sure she has Chagas, but most North American doctors don’t know what to do with it. She was told she would get worse and then die. I found an expert at a nearby university but I would like to know if anyone has experience in natural therapy. The lesson on sweet wormwood made me wonder if that would help.

        Thanks:)

Chagas disease is a protozoal disease caused by a trypanosome (like th one that causes African Sleeping sickness). It’s common in central and south America.

Artemisia annua would certainly be my first grab. I’d do some Immunity Support too. But first, I’d try to get a correct diagnosis. No sense barking up the wrong tree.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
