Hi I have a friend with ostiosis pubis.  I had never heard of it before.  She also has a torn tendon somewhere in her hip.  I was wondering if she should just use some bone, tissue, and joint formula.  Doctors say she has to operate on her tendon but I would like to think some herbs would help.  How long should she take herbs before resorting to surgery?

And where should this post go under?

Thank you for your help.       🙂

          Hi Kenra,

Osteitis pubis is a chronic inflammation of the pubic symphysis (the ligament that holds the front of the pelvis together. It can have a lot of causes….mostly secondary to injuries and such.

I’d consider Joint Support internally and hops tincture topically. That might make all the difference. Have a looka t the Pain Management lessons in the Disease & Herbal Interventions section.

PS: Id put a topic like this in the Case Studies section. :0)

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
