I’m new to herbalism, and this course. But I had a family member reach out asking if there are any herbs that could help reduce or get rid of tinnitus. I looked through the nervous system slides and maybe I missed it, but I didn’t see anything on tinnitus.
Does anyone have experience or ideas?

I have done a small amount of research on this. I have found that it could be linked to diabetes. Diabetes can cause tinnitus. The inner ear is dependent on glucose metabolism in the bloodstream and thus can be impacted by high blood sugar. Another thing that can cause tinnitus is high levels of insulin. And since Diabetes is a Metabolic issue, getting that under control would maybe help. However, there definitely could be other factors such as neurological concerns.

Tinnitus can have lots of causes. I’ve used the Inner Ear and Balance formula on some cases and had it work.

The Rezzimax Tuner sometimes fixes it too.

Both of those depend on the cause.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
