        Hi I’m annett and I’m just starting to learn about medicinal herb growing and using. I keep finding new plants on my property, identifying them and finding out they are medicinal. I keep reading, gathering and practicing in hopes of keeping this experiential information and book information stuck in my brain. I hope to turn practice into knowledge one herb at a time. My interests were inspired by Doc Jones recently when I attended a conference where he presented. I wanted to know about the medicinal plants in my area. And he had the resources. Thank you Doc Jones!

          Same story with us a few years ago. Finding NEW things all the time.

          The way I find that helps the best is to USE the herbs. While they all have multiple uses if you can just recall that ONE you are well on your way.

            Memory = Usage.

            What we use, we recall forever. What we don’t use gets filed away in dusty corners of the brain and can be hard to retrieve.

            Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

              Thanks! That’s what I’ve been up to. I have done a couple of poultice treatments and am drying and freezing all sorts of things for smoothies and winter usage. I’m having such a great time learning all this herb stuff. My family calls me the Hippy Witch.

                Hahaha!! I had to laugh at hippy witch Annett! My family has all sorts of names for me too! Hippy and witch doctor are a couple. I really like garden or woodland fairy but my all time favorite is THE WEED WHISPERER because I truly do have amazing conversations with my weeds! Hahaha But if I tell people my weeds talk to me they look at me like I have two heads…. it’s understandable! I used to be scared of people like me! Now I can’t believe I’m one of them! Sort of ironic! Lol
