My daughter has mastitis. Her baby is 9 months old. I looked through my notes form the recent conference and couldn’t find anything on mastitis. I know there is the 3 parts Mullein and 1 part Lobelia fomentation that I read in a Dr Christopher book. Would you add anything or other teas to drink?

Sweet Clover (not the kind in your lawn) and Coral Root are mentioned in Moore’s Mountain West book. Use them as an external poultice.

Thanks. I will keep that in my notes. The night I posted, I used 3 parts mullein and 1 part lobelia made into a tea and soaked in a cloth, applied to skin and wrapped in plastic, adding a heating pad. She sipped some of the same tea. The pain was better in the morning. She had to work that day but used the same treatment that night and was completely better in the morning. 🙂

Heat can work miracles with poultices. It gets things moving, usually in a good way.
