I’ve been putting a plantain salve on my spider bite for a week. There was no tissue loss. I thought it looked healed (except a small red dot where the bite was) but then it started itching a lot and I scratched it to get some relief. Well, that was the wrong thing to do! A bunch of red dots appeared all around the original bite along with flushed red skin. Are the red dots and itching a normal part of healing from a spider bite or do I have something else going on?

Red dots and itching can be normal. Some internal plantain is a good idea in such cases as well.

          This is good too.
