i have a lot of shepherds purse in my garden area that my husband says has to go so i lovingly pulled it up and rinsed off the dirt. the problem is i dont know weather to save and dry the whole plant root and all or just the top part please help

The aerial parts are the principle medicine I usually tincture the fresh plant in everclear but you can use the dried plant in vodka if you like (the fresh herbs is better). You can also use the dry powder to make teas or tinctures.
Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
