        Hello Doc Jones!

I am very fond of doing things myself at home but I have found what I think is a tumor on my 7 year German Shepherd. And I would really appreciate some wise guidance!! It is on her side between the ribs and the skin down by her nipple. It’s about the size of a small marble and a perfect ball. I have not had it checked by a vet yet, and was wondering if there are any herbs that I should just start giving her or if I need to find out exactly what it is first? It seems to hurt her a little bit when I brush that side/area.

Thanks for any help or advice in advance.

Have a vet look at it. Could be a benign, harmless lipoma or could be a mammary tumor or some other bad thing.

If it’s a sub-Q cancer, get it cut off.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
