I live in the woods of the South, where muscadine grows rampant. Do the leaves of muscadine have the same medicinal properties as grape leaf?

I’ve been trying to find out if our wild grape (as we call it in Indiana and Michigan) has any properties.  If it does, I have an embarrassment of riches lol.  We have an auto repair shop, and the guys joke that I need a ring in my nose so I quit rooting in the yard (because I’m always digging up roots or planting something).  I’m foraging like crazy right now, because my sweetie got me the herbalism course for my birthday, provided I promised not to attempt a garden this summer at the same time (I have physical limitations lol).  So foraging is kind of bending the rules, but it scratches my gardening itch.

If the genus is Vitis, it’s going to be similar.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

As far as I know, its genus is Vitis. So that is good for us southern folks!
