StudentMy blood work came back with Prediabetic Diagnosis. My wife has changed my diet and not I have to work on an exercise program for me. Since I retired from the Military I sort of became lazy with physical fitness. I live in the middle of nowhere Texas so it is HOT right now. Any ideas besides indoor cycle, treadmill, and total gym. The total gym is the only exercise equipment I haven’t figured out how to hang laundry on. Thanks in advance!

StudentHi there. I have found amazing exercise programs with Miranda Edmonds-White. Go to You Tube. Super easy anyone can do it no matter your fitness or pain levels. Works every muscle and joint in a gentle manner. She was a professional ballerina and now trains all of us at different fitness/health levels and top Olympic athletes. I highly recommend her. Charrin

Homestead InstructorHave a look at the Pancreas lesson. There’s some good information there that might be helpful as well.

StudentHey there, having a work out routine at home is a fantastic idea. We have recently implemented a rebounder and a balance board. The rebounder has been studied by NASA and was determined the most efficient way to condition and recondition astronauts before and after missions. It is said that 10 minutes on the rebounder is equivalent to 20-30 minutes of jogging.  The balance board will strengthen your legs, core and brain. Studies have shown using a balance board improves focus and memory. Both are fun and take the boring right out of your routine😋. I hope this helps.

StudentHey Steven, I had test results that where coming up as pre-diabetic a few years ago. And along with diet, I ended up taking the stevia supplement from nutramedix. It really helped me out, and I am no longer pre-diabetic so maybe give something like that a try! I know this is not a exercise program, but we are multi-dimensional beings and this supplement really helped me out.

StudentI was also diagnosed with pre diabetes about a year and a half ago. Others were just a shocked to hear of my diagnosis as I don’t really fit the stereotype. Found out that post menopause and decreased muscle tone play a role. Lost my sweet tooth 😉 with a Blood Sugar Reset Program run by Functional Medicine Nutritionist, Being Brigid. Good for killing the sweet tooth! Now I am starting HIIT, High Intensity Interval Training, and just learned about rebounding, both through Barbara O’Neill on YouTube. I will now look into the balance board after reading Amy’s post.
