        Hello all from Canada,

We are both novice herbalist here and I’ve been having some issues with mobility on both big toes, so I recently seen my Doctor and after x-rays and ultrasound I was told I had ” servere ” arthritis and not much he  could do. I was referred to a podiatrist  but looking at a 2 yrs( Canada has Doctor issues) before consultation.

Now I can deal with the out of the blue Sharp pain like being hit with a hammer and chisel and limits of movement,,,,,,, Butt a 2yr wait is a Nuts.

So my Janet and I have tried a few herbal remedies for inflammation and pain such as ” turmeric and pepper” , dandelion or cayenne. I even made a Comfrey poultice and Salve which helped a little. No exotic herbs grow in my area so I kept to what I have.

Has anyone else had any success with other formulations?

As a ” new” herbalist I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions.

        Thank you and Cheers

        Doug
