For those who don’t know, Alpha Gal Syndrome is an allergy to the alpha gal sugar that’s found in most kinds of meat from mammals. It can be in milk and gelatin and such as well. The problem is caused by tick bites oddly enough.
I’ve never treated it but since it’s principally an allergy issue, antihistamine herbs like nettles or Brigham tea would be interesting to try. It’d also be interesting to see if a leaky gut protocol would help decrease sensitivity.
