I’m super new here, so it’s more than possible the problem is completely on me. I’d like to apologize upfront if I simply was reading the instructions incorrectly.
In the lesson “How to use the Homegrown Herbalist Student Forum,” it instructs students to do a few things on the forum. The lesson indicates that students must mark the lesson complete before they are allowed to participate in the forum. However, the “mark complete” button didn’t appear until after I took the quiz.
I think it should say, take the quiz, mark the lesson complete, and then come back to actually complete the lesson. ??
Technology is like magic to me. Thank you for all you do.
In Order to access the student forum you must mark this lesson as “complete” this signifies you have read and understand the rules of the forum as outlined here and that you agree to follow those rules.
Your Assignment:
- Create a Post on the forum
- Write a reply to another student’s post
- “Thank” another participant by clicking the “Thank” Button on their post
- Come back and complete this quiz below after you’ve done it 🙂

Thanks for reporting, you get extra brownie points today!<br><br>Important Note: If you are using the Brave Browser or one of the other “Privacy-Focus-Chrome-Reskin” Browsers (that are in my opinion borderline malware, running cryptocurrency garbage in the background, and are extremely resource intensive and run by for-profit corporations which somehow definitely don’t make money off your data…)
PLEASE reconsider.
These browsers block the core tech of websites that have user-based content and are not and will never be compatible by default. If you’re going to use it, you’ll need to learn, understand, and configure the settings for it on your own as that is outside the scope of our support.
If you are interested in a privacy based browsing experience, I recommend Firefox which is NOT built on the same tech controlled by google (that Brave and all the others are).
