I am a newer student and still have a LOT to learn. A friend has a dog that is coughing a lot. She just went to the emergency vet and they gave her dog Ellie Doxycycline. I have dried Mullein….is that ok to try on Ellie…any problems mixing it with Doxy?

Hello, I made a mullein tea for our dog and used to rehydrate his freeze dried food and it worked well.
Just make sure you double strain it so none of the leaves of the herb end up in the liquid. Hope that helps. Good luck Ellie.

Mullein is fine for dogs.
Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
