I have a question about the chickory pdf. The PDF says third page “Parts Used: Root and Leaf” but on the eighth page second paragrapgh “Flowers can be harvested at the height of the their bloom, but can be gathered whenever you need them.” I have a few flowers out there and would like to know how to use them before they freeze their little petals off. Thanks for your help. p.s. in the HGH guide to medicinal weeds book has the sap also listed for medicinal uses. The book doesn’t have parts used just edible uses and medicinal uses.

Has anyone successfully moved chickory, mine is growing in the walk way every time I walked by it I disturbed the winged critters. I’m thinking new location for next year.
