Does anyone have any suggestions about herbs or tinctures for someone with possible pneumonia. A friend I know is in the hospital with pneumonia like symptoms and wondering if there was anything that would be helpful for when the lungs are under stress.

Well you’ll want to figure out what is causing the pneumonia, I have a lady in my church who was just diagnosed with a viral pneumonia, so for her I’m going to give her some things that will help fight against viruses. I don’t think you can go wrong with garlic and raw honey no matter what is causing the pneumonia though. Since the lady I know is likely on pills from the Dr, we figured that nothing is really going to have a bad interaction with garlic and honey. One raw clove of garlic, minced and covered with raw honey, morning and evening. Even if this doesn’t help with the pneumonia (which I’m certain it will) it will definitely improve overall health and allow the body to more effectively fight the pneumonia.
Garlic and raw honey are pretty amazing. Garlic is antibiotic, antiviral, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, and is immune stimulating. Raw honey has tons of nutrients, antimicrobial, antioxidant, immune supporting, and a bunch of other stuff too. So basically adding in two things that will greatly improve health and more than likely fight the pneumonia, with no contraindications that I can think of. Win win

Thanks for your response! I will definitely pass that along. I think he was intubated today though because he was getting worse so not sure exactly what else is going on. Something possibly about a growth may be on a heart valve keeping it open and pushing blood back into his lungs is what I thought I heard last?! This family needs any extra prayers if anyone would like to contribute!

Go to William Bruneau’s website (bbruneau.com) and read about Sida acuta.  It cures almost anything including drug resistant diseases.  I’ve used it for inflammation and it works well.  It’s been used in India for thousands of years and has no contraindications.  God bless and keep you.

Thank you for the tip, John! This plant is absolutely amazing.  I ordered the seed and book, can’t wait to get it growing and try it out.  Great info!

John, are you using this as a simple for the inflammation?  I have bone and joint issues, and of course, the resulting inflammation that many times messes with my sleep.  However, I’m in zone 3 – so growing it outside is likely not going to happen, we have a very short growing season.

Would Mullen tea also make a great addition for someone with pneumonia?
