StudentLots of brilliant people out there selling Frankincense (Thank you brilliant people!!).
Can we use any of the resins for internal medicine or should we look for certain qualities or types? I have found a green frank’ that is described as edible, but all others only promote their intention as using for incense.

StudentFrankincense is a strong anti-inflammatory. Tincturing is a fabulous way to use it. I would recommend topical application to affected areas. Although, I have taken the tincture internally, but do your own research.

StudentI have used Frankinsense in a decoction with other herbs for pain (frozen shoulder) as well as the E.O. topically for the pain. I buy the tears and grind it up a bit with mortar and pestel when using in herb form.

Dr. Patrick Jones
Homestead InstructorIt can be powdered. But you’ll have to clean the blender with alcohol.
Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

StudentHow much pepper to how much turmeric for the synergistic effect?
And, is there another plant that can be used with turmeric to improve its effect? (Pepper is difficult for some bodies to process.)
