I have been playing around with a herbal mixture in a topical salve to help with rashes, scratches and such . The main ingredients is Comfrey, catnip, beeswax, coconut oil and Aloe vera. I have been using my friends as my test subjects and had an incredible testimony the other day. My one friend had an accident years ago where fine glass got into her skin. The skin has healed but is scarred in many places. She told me that my salve actually helped pull out old pieces of glass that was still stuck in her skin. Amazing and definitely something I did not expect!

Wow that is unexpected but how cool! What a blessing to be able to help that way!

Yolanda – congrats on a wonderful success story!  Were the ingredients equal parts?  What form was the aloe in – powder, fresh plant, etc…?  I wonder if CatMint could sub for the CatNip, even though they are different.  I meant to grow Nip, but ended up with the Mint version.  Boo Hoo for me.
