        Hello everyone!

I have a friend whose child has been going to the ER constantly but the doctors do not know what to do for his little 6 year old.  The doctors think it is stomach ulcers.  Could anyone give me some recommendations for stomach ulcers?  Since he is just a child I want to make sure that the recommendations are safe for very small children.  We recommended that the child drink chicken stock and supplement with slippery elm.  If anyone has any other recommendations it would be greatly appreciated!

        Thank you!

Slippery elm or marshmallow on a regular basis are a really good idea. Meadowsweet is also good for ulcers and safe in kiddos.

Have a look at the Upper Digestive System 1 lesson. We talk about ulcers there.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

Thank you for getting back with me, Dr. Patrick Jones!  Would I use meadowsweet in the form of a tincture or as a tea?
