        Hi everyone,

I’m wondering about wound management for the type of cut that people would normally self-treat with super glue (aka the kind of wound that should maybe have stitches, but isn’t super deep and which has been incurred by the type of person who avoids the ER like the plague). If you were going to poultice the wound with, say, a fresh comfrey poultice, would you super glue/stitch first? Or put the poultice straight on? My instinct is that the poultice, as it dries, would actually hold the wound together pretty well and that the super glue would get in the way of it working correctly, but I’m a little concerned about the wound not staying shut well and continuing to bleed. Thanks for any input!

I have no personal experience in this, but I would imagine since Doc teaches how to suture here in the following lesson that suturing would be the way to go and add the poultice on after
