I tried to download this lesson, but there is nothing in the folder? I haven’t had this issue with any other lessons…

Hi there,
the download for Lower Digestive System II: Pathology & Herbal Interactions – Homestead Academy does seem to be working as intended, please try to clear your browser cache and let me know if you have further issues.

I have been having this problem (pdf error, appears empty) for Cardiovascular 3 and Digestive 1 and 2. I have cleared my browser, tried a different browser, tried another computer. Tried it with the VPN off. I have made sure my computer is up-to-date. I am not sure what else to try. Any suggestions would be great.

Hi Victoria,
Could you send me a screengrab of the process so I can see what we’re dealing with?
I don’t have other reports of these lesson downloads failing and they are passing all my tests with dozens of browser and network combinations, so I am quite confident this issue is local to your machine.Lets dig in with some more information.
When you download the zip file, and you click it just once in the downloads folder (not opening it just a single click)
you should see in the rightside pane some file details including size. The Lower Digestive 2 Lesson is between 3 to 4 MB. If you see a similar size value that would be a sign that the file is downloading successfully, and you are having a different issue.Further, if you double click to open the file you should see a folder inside the zip file and if you double click that folder you should see the PDF file inside. (video example shown below)
Another thing you could try is downloading the file on a different device and see if you have the same issue. If the issue is persistent across devices that would be a sign that your network is the problem somehow. If the file downloads successfully on the other device then we would know that you have some sort of operating system error on your home device.

I’m afraid it is a problem on your part, since several people have reported the same problem since. I have tried the suggestions above, doesn’t work. Hope you guys will figure it out soon, It’s really a sad weekend without studying here!

I’m sorry, I was out of town for a funeral and left my computer at home. I looked this morning again and everything appears to be functioning normal. I checked multiple lesson downloads and all seems to be working as it should..
Thank you

Here you go Evan
I have previously downloaded every pdf successfully, however, something seems to have changed and now when I download the files and unzip them, all that is contained inside of it is just a 1kb file

I do not think the original bug reported here is related to the recent issue we’ve seen with downloads (reference: here) and presentations not loading so I am going to keep this ticket open and investigate further.
Could anybody still experiencing issues please confirm the issue and include a reply with steps to replicate?
