I have been taking Ginkgo tincture for memory issues. The vasodilator properties have helped my high blood pressure, as well. I would like to add Butcher’s Broom for varicose veins.  It is a vasoconstrictor.  Can both be taken?

        Thank you!

I would probably try and see about using Butcher’s Broom externally. The lesson on Butcher’s Broom says you can make a cream with it and use it externally to treat varicose veins

            I agree with this response.
Internal combination of butcher’s broom and Ginkgo internally will likely have a cancelling effect because they’re doing opposite things. I’d use the butcher’s broom topically.

There are some other ideas for varicose veins in the Circulatory System II lesson.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
