My old friend had  a leg amputated. It has not healed enough to implement an artificial limb. It is bandaged, so external application is not viable. What herbs would you recommend he take internally to speed his healing?  Comfrey?  Plantain?

Comfrey would help speed up healing, however, if he is taking other pharmaceuticals, they will interact so be wary of that

You can also just spray comfrey tincture on topically as near to the issue as possible. It’ll soak right in and get where it’s needed.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

My pal started taking some methylene blue and the tissue is growing more quickly on the stump.

Odd question.  Edward Shook ND, DC, author of “Advanced Treatise on Herbology” commented that NaCl and KCl control the fibrin level in the blood.  Is this true?  Is it true that if the KCl gets too low then fibrin comes out of solution and creates clots?  Could this be a reason for long stringy clots in blood vessels in CV autopsies?
