        Hey all,

Nice to finally be joining the classes from Kenya. I am an American living in Kenya and am super excited to be enrolled. We have so many amazing herbs I am learning here in Kenya but I want to complete this course and get started on my new path before I move home (in 4-5 years) to Western NC.

I have been wildcrafting herbs since I was 11 after watching the movie “Where the Lilies Bloom” Anyone else ever watch that movie? The best.

        Olivia

            Hi Olivia,

            Welcome aboard. :0)

I am new here also. Thank you for sharing the name of the movie. I just purchased it on Amazon and will watch it soon. I live not far from the Appalachian mountain range and frequently visit there to forage for medicinal herbs. I can’t think of a time herbal medicine was not in my life, but I started pursuing the knowledge in 1992.

Hey Wendy! Glad you got the movie. The old store that is in the movie with the pot belly stove is called the Mast Store in Valle Crusis. Not far from the house I grew up in. I used to ride my bike to that store whenI was a kid to get milk as it was open on Sundays unlike most stores in the area (There were not many…Just little country stores) . Hope you like the movie. Its so sweet!
