Dr. Patrick Jones
Homestead InstructorLicorice and lemon balm both have some early research showing actions against hand, foot and mouth disease (Coxsackievirus A16 or Enterovirus 71).
Personally I’d also do the Immunity Support and the Respiratory-Shoofloo formulas. Both are here:
Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

StudentI came on here to see if anyone else had done something different for future reference. But I had already done the formulas that that Doc. Jones recommend above and saw great results. We took my middle child to see a Dr. we thought it was maybe strep. He was diagnosed with HFM. We started herbal interventions for all the children quickly after. My one picky child is not doing great but my youngest who is more willing took them after exposure and has not had it at all. My middle started to get better pretty soon after we started pumping him with Immunity Support and Shoofloo. I also made a Lemon Balm oil and rubbed it on their skin and it seemed to help with their itchiness and pain.
Thanks Doc Jones for the comment it helped me see that I am a decent student and still able to retaining knowledge!
Blessings,
