Hello, everyone! I started this course way back in late 2023, I think. Last time I worked on it was about a year ago. Got busy with other things, but now I want to really focus on this course and get it done. I’ve been using herbs for years, and I’ve already used quite a bit of what I’ve learned so far to help my husband, my friends, and myself.

I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, which is a beautiful place, although the growing season is too short. Zone 4B. Gardening is a challenge here, but I’ve gotten gumweed, elecampane, lemon balm, peppermint, marshmallow, comfrey, and others growing. I also have a patch of skullcap growing wild down by the lake, and I wildcraft other herbs like mullein and wintergreen, so I have a lot available. What I don’t or can’t grow I can get from the herb store on this website, or as a last resort, Amazon.

My latest wild hair is to start a medicinal herb nursery and sell plants at the local farmer’s markets. So, another reason to get this course finished!
