My sister severly dislikes the taste of alcohol.  I want to make her a glycerite for menopause (black cohash and red clover for sure).

I am concerned about it being weaker and less shelf life.  Normally I tell people 1/2 tsp of a tincture.  Should we increase the dosage for it?  How much weaker does it tend to be?

Anything else I could do to increase potency? Saw something in the forums about a heat process to increase it but have not found info on it anywhere else so hesitant to try it out.  I wondered too about using the alcohol intermediary method so its just a dash of alcohol in it, maybe that would increase potency?

I have thought about doing 25% vodka 75% glycerine to solve both my concerns but am worried she would still taste it.  She did with the 50/50 one I did last time.  Also not sure what the shelf life on a 25/75 one would be?

        I appreciate any guidance!
