        Hey Doc,

You told us to not leave droppers in the tinctures.  Why is that?

Are glass droppers ok to leave in the tincture when storing?

Over time, the rubber parts of the lid will degrade and crack and you’ll get evaporation of the tincture.

It’s fine to leave in a dropper in a bottle that’s going to be empty in a couple of weeks. Just don’t store dropper-capped bottles long term.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

Yikes, I will have to put on regular bottle caps!

Is there an easy way to clean used droppers?

I just use hot water and a pipe cleaner. They work better than the straw cleaners because straw cleaners  have a bulb at the tip that is too large for the bottom of the dropper where it narrows. That bulb will break a glass dropper.
