My dog was given amoxicillin after the vet attempted to drain a cyst on her hip. He drew out a drop of fluid but primarily blood. He was unable to make a diagnosis from the drop of fluid that he drew off. He gave her amoxicllin for 2 weeks just in case there is an infection. The side effects of the antibiotic are tummy issues and urinary dribble. Thoughts on giving the anitbiotic and is there a more natural approach I can take for her. She is 11 years old. Since he attempted to aspirate the cyst, it has become larger.

Dogs sometimes get sterile cysts. Antibiotics won’t help antibiotics.
If they can’t get it drained, they may have to surgically remove it. I don’t have an herb for that.
