Does Anise Hyssop have the same medicinal properties as basic Hyssop?
On a more basic note is there a good way to know if similar genus? plants have the same properties
such as Echinacia and Rudbeckia?

I’m curious about this too. I recently found “orange hummingbird mint” on a walk, and my plant identifier app says its a species of giant hyssops. I found out they’re both in the genus Agastache, but have different species names. I would love to cultivate this pretty orange variety if it is equally medicinal!
