Hi, I recently ran out of California Mugwort (Artemisia Douglassiana). That plant has been extremely beneficial to me in so many aspects of my health! Does anyone know where I can find more? Or another of the Mugworts (Artemisia Ludoviciana, Artemisia Vulgaris)? I currently live in north eastern Nevada, in Elko county. A botanist with the BLM mentioned to me once that mugwort is growing wild in this region. If anyone else on this forum is familiar with the area, could you point me in the right direction to go looking for it?

Meanwhile, I’ve identified Artemisia Frigida (Prairie Sage, Mountain Sage). Could this be an adequate substitute? I REALLY need to find more of this stuff, or a plant with similar properties!

I no longer have a garden, as I’m about to become a nomad, so I am pretty much relegated to wildcrafting all of my medicinal herbs. I also am pretty strapped for funds, so I can’t just buy it whenever I want.

Much thanks to anyone with any information.

what are you using it for?

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

To control chronic inflammatory conditions: asthma, and to mitigate my response accidental wheat ingestion. It really works!

Btw, just the other day I found some growing at the Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir, in the backwaters area. It’s small, New spring growth. I need to wait for it to get bigger.
