        Hi all,

Glad to be here, I just joined this school. My husband has myasthenia gravis and is too weak to do much. I read in one of the lessons on herbs for immune system that astragalus helps with auto immune and for prednisone. My question is, does astragalus support the side effects of prednisone and it is good to take while on it or should it not be taken in combination with it? Also is the herbal cleanse protocol safe to do while on prednisone? Thank you

If I were fighting an infection, and had an autoimmune disease, Astragalus would be my choice. I wouldn’t combine it with prednisone as a long term therapeutic companion.

          Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceous)

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
