StudentA few years back, I twisted my ankle (not sure if it got sprained or what happened) but I have been to two chiropractors and the pain doesnt seem to go away. Then once I was with child, my sacrum began to hurt. It would click when I walked. Its still happens after one year of having the baby. I mentioned the ankle because it feels like one effects the other. Both problems, the chiropractors cannot seem to help. Im hoping some herbs will! As Doc Jones asks, “WHY are you in pain?,” I’ve tried to share this much detail haha!
P.S. Looking for herbs to take, specific to these pains, while breastfeeding

StudentI don’t know what herbs to use, but wondering if proper hydration might be part of the issue. Americans are chronically dehydrated and it can cause a lot of problmens. I have read that for people with rheumatoid arthritis it is sometimes enough to drink about 12 cups of water a day and consume a quarter of a teaspoon of salt (I would do a quality salt with lots of trace minerals) to cure their pain. The hydration is helping lubricate the joints, so maybe the same thing would help your popping. If it is a matter of popping your bones into place, maybe look at anti-inflammatory herbs. Sometime inflammation can make it hard to move your joints around.

Homestead InstructorI would look at nervines like hops, skullcap or valerian and antispasmodics like cramp bark, lobelia etc. All of those can be sprayed on topically as tinctures during lactation as needed.
I keep a bottle of hops, Rest Easy and NoMoSpazmz around for such things. You can buy spray tops for the tincture bottles on the website.

Homestead InstructorSee if you can find a local that practices naprapathy. Naprapathy techniques are the best thing in the world for putting a sacrum back where it belongs.
We hope to be starting a naprapathy school sometime soon.
