I harvested a huge amount of yucca.  I was able to get a couple of gallons of it chopped up and into the dehydrator but I did not take the bark off.  Does that matter?  I saw that in your herb shop yucca tincture info you said to keep the bark on if it’s to be used as a sudsing agent.  Will the sudsy bark be a problem if made into tincture or tea?  I had more to chop later that I did remove the bark from first; I can use that for tincture, but I’d still like to know about usability of all that stuff with the bark mixed in.

The bark is safe. It isn’t medicinal though and will dilute the final potency a bit if left on.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
