Barn Cat-general health

There is a cat where we board our horse.   She is old and still eats, drinks and moves around slowly.   She gets dewormed by the owner.  She is thin and no one knows how old (she came with the place when purchased).   The owner, a dear friend, has let me trim her up a little because she cannot clean her coat anymore.  The owner is open to anything that we can do to help from home. Cannot afford to have Vet care at this point.   Is there anything that we could give her that would just boost her overall health?   She is thin.  She is such a great barn cat!  She can still catch a baby Barn Swallow if it flies low enough.
