Does anyone know anything about Beggar’s ticks, Bidens pilosa? I have this plant that popped up in my garden and through a plant id app. it is identified as beggar’s ticks. I have looked at other sites and it still comes up as beggar’s ticks. Can anyone tell me what it is good for and is it safe? I looked through the forum and couldn’t find anything.

All I know is what I found on the internet:made into a tincture from the root and is used to treat irritations, bleeding of the urinary tract mucosa, pain, and inflammation.

If it’s on the internet it must be true…….

If Dr. Google says it, then it’s true even if it’s not. Thanks!

I know the Chinese use it but I don’t have any experience with it.
