Belly pain, gastrointestinal issues. Helicobacter pylori.?!!

Hi guys! I need your input!
my 8 year old daughter is having some sort of belly issues. I can’t quite remember now but I think her first gastrointestinal issues started New Year’s Eve with the typical gastro flu on the couch (vomiting and diarrhea for ~12 hours) and since then she’s had belly pain on and off along with nausea and vomiting , vomited 17th and just again tonight the 21st. 😨 (the last few times just belly pain, feeling in well which eventually results in throwing up once and feeling better.)

im so boggled ! What’s going on? I’m keeping a record of what she ate etc, (we eat very healthy, good fats, organic foods, food from scratch type life style.)

we have friends whose daughter is also experiencing gastro issues, she’s been to the doctor and they’re testing her for Helicobacter pylori.

Suppose my daughter has this also, what can I give her to treat this?!?

Hello Tina,

So sorry that your daughter (and her friend) are having these issues. I know you are probably very stressed trying to help her! Here are a few things for you to look at:

Go to the advanced search box and type in “heliobacter pylori”. 5 items come up that you can go to for help.  Look at the Upper digestive system PDF on page 57-59 for starters.

I will be praying for the situation to be resolved quickly and in a healthy way.

this might be a silly question but where is the advanced search box? i see the regular search box but only 2 items popped up

This is how I do it: I go to Getting Started, Getting Finished & Navigating section. Then at the upper right hand corner is the icon for your profile. Hover the mouse over that and it brings up a drop-down menu where you can select different things. The advanced search is in the menu. Click on it and it will take you to search tools-there are four options to pick from. Option One: Search Lesson Titles, Option Two: Search Lesson Content, Option Three: Search the Student Forum, Option Four (NEW): Using The ‘HERBERT A.I.’ I have noticed on my computer sometimes I have to wait a few seconds before the options pop up.

I don’t know if it is different on different computer systems, but that is how I get to it.

I know it is frustrating trying to find your way around. I don’t have much computer knowledge, but it does like seem to me that this site is difficult to navigate sometimes. I hope this helps you. If not you might find help through someone else that understands computers better than I do.
