I’m guessing that the bleeding powder is more effective then a fresh yarrow plant?

Light bulb moment: Pack fresh yarrow over wound an hour after bleeding powder dries to avoid band-aid sticking to wound. Harder to re-bandage though.

Since one would not be able to fit the suture tape with lacing on a finger, I’m assuming a butterfly bandage would be next best thing

One thing that helps to have on hand during an injury: For a finger, its nice to have disposable gloves around (a bit larger then you need) so that you can put the glove easily over the affected hand and still be able to do chores.  Goes for foot injuries too, its nice to have a pair of boots that can handle a bound up foot (think sock over bandaged foot)  So much for thinking about minimalism and getting rid of boots that are a size too big.

You can cut the duct tape to whatever width you like and make your own butterfly.

Fresh (chopped) or powdered yarrow are great

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

Thank you Doctor Jones.  Its been a busy year.  I dont know how you do it with so many irons in the fire!  I do want to sign up for the EMT course.  🙂  I think it is so important! However, Time seems to be a fleeting thing these days. Along with not knowing day to day whats going to happen next with the internet.
