A friend has purchased a tincture called cancer treatment.
included in the ingredients is bloodroot. I seem to recall in a lesson Doc said black salve is caustic and don’t use it topically for cancer. Is blood root the active herb and would it also considered toxic in a cancer tincture?

Bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis) is an herb I’d never use. It has significant risks of toxicity in any form.
Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
