Any herbs helpful in managing body odor?

I have been asked for help by a woman who is avoiding anti-perspirants and having trouble with body odor even immediately after showering. She is using natural deodorants and that’s not doing the job.

Not sure about herbs to help, but I don’t find natural deodorants to be effective either.  I do make one that I have found to be very effective.  The recipe is ¼ cup baking soda, ½ cup cornstarch or arrowroot powder, 10 drops Tea Tree EO, and 2-4 TBSP of coconut oil (to desired consistency).  I use it like a lotion daily and sometimes at night after a shower.  She may also want to try a cleanse.  Hope this helps.

I was also thinking a cleanse maybe helpful.

I have the same issue.  I’ve done the herb cleanse and leaky gut.  It seems most days as soon as I get out of the shower, I stink and am not sweating. My thought is its a liver issue but would love to see others chime in.

Not an herb, but if it’s an elimination problem she might consider using a sauna regularly to see if it helps.  Sometimes people eat a lot of sulfur-containing foods such as garlic, onions, cabbage, broccoli, etc.  It seems to come out the pores.
