StudentWould the NoStonz formula help to dissolve a heel bone spur with some achilles calcification? Is there anything that could help with this, either internally or topically?

StudentI actually saw a video the other day where a lady indicated castor oil compresses for the slow removal of bone spurs. (Australian Barbara O’Neill). I’ve not tried it myself, but might be worth research and consideration.

Homestead InstructorNo. The NoStonz formula is for kidney and bladder stones. I’m not aware of anything herbal that will dissolve bone spurs.

StudentSeveral years ago I was having issues raising my arm. It got to the point where I could not raise my arm enough to get mail out of my mailbox. I went to an orthopedist who diagnosed a bone spur in my shoulder. He recommended surgery which I declined for fear that scar tissue might develop and be as bad as the bone spur. I then decided to see an MD who treats more holistically. He prescribed B12 injections (1cc IM for 30 days) along with Vitamin K2. I asked how that could work. He said that they didn’t really know how it worked, but that sometimes it just worked. It seemed like a simple and safe treatment option so I gave it a try. My husband gave me the B12 injections with an insulin syringe either in the upper arm or rear (He seemed to enjoy that a little too much!) I do not recall the dosage on the K2 or if I took it beyond the 30 days. I’m not sure how long it took to get relief, but I never remember thinking “Is this ever going to work?” At any rate, I am happy to report that the bone spur went away and, thankfully, has never returned.

StudentI have bone spur on the back of my heel and have been rubbing castor oil on it at night and covering it with a sock before bed. I don’t know that it’s “curing” anything, but it has taken the pain away.

StudentTopic AuthorI have been rubbing castor oil on mine as well. It doesn’t seem to be getting any smaller but it does seem to have lessened the pain some. Thanks for sharing this!

StudentI had a large painful heel spur while I was living in France and was given a homeopathic remedy, Hekla lava 5ch. It can be ordered online.
I was a teacher and so spent many hours standing. I needed 5 granules 3-4 times a day for 6 months and then twice a day for 2 more. It really eased the pain while the spur slowly dissolved. This is NOT a quick remedy but mine completely disappeared! (I also wore only running shoes for most everything with gel heel inserts in the beginning.)
